Aan so! (Couldn't start the blog without paying respect to dear Murugan sir, a great influence in my life, could I? :P)
Coming back, yes - I've started blogging and no - not because I wanted to follow the trend or because having a web-space makes you an achiever (read: my senior Bhavik lol). Its getting into Microsoft that does make you one (read: Bhavik again lol!)
Ahh coming back to the blogging thing again, people who've nothing much to do usually start talking, or in my case blogging. This is my homage to mumbai university for putting me through a 17-day break in between two papers! MU rocks :P
Yea so the title of the blog might seem a bit weird and calls for an explanation. 'The Other Network of Thoughts' is, as it says, the online version of me. For those dyslexic enough not to get it, the usual network of thoughts is what I put forth in person.. through what i speak, my actions (or inactions mostly!) and various other forms which most of you must've rattofied in Communication Skills. Well the two networks can often overlap, but one needn't be a subset of the other.. its the conjunction of both that forms me actually (hehe discrete structures.. just read that yesterday :P)
About the title of this post. No i'm not a sadist solitary guy nor I'm referring to the wonderful poem by William Wordsworth. Its just that I'm reminded of the bingo numbers (called tambola or housie in India). One of the favorite past-time in parties was (I say was because I hardly see that at social functions nowadays.. at least the few that I visit. Probably we've lost the knack of fun.. who knows) housie which we children were particularly in awe of. Jumping at every number hit, the ohhhs at every number miss and the jealousy of having to see another's row gone before yours.. hmm social functions in childhood was kinda fun what say?
Okay so you've read this far that means I could get at least one reader :P So here's the key that'll help probably for you to decipher this and then future posts:
:P - This usually ends a sarcastic comment or a PJ (some may call it BJ - Bhavik joke (typical microsoft.. patent and copyright everything!) or some like my classmates might call it GJ - gutter joke) but i'd stick to PJ.. take out your own meaning of it!
.. - This means the next sentence is actually related to the previous one, so read it in the same breath (like you didnt know)
Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead is purely intentional and the writer is responsible for direct, indirect, incidental or consequential ridicule or praise in the blog. Till the next post then.. c ya!
